VISIT TO THE MUSIUM

 

One day I visited the Colombo museum with my two buddy. That day we haven’t lectures. So we decided to go to visit museum. It is so nearby our university. So that was a first day the three of us went to the museum. It was a very happy day. The three of us walked all over the whole museum.  

The major attraction in the main hall was the skeleton of a huge whale suspended from the roof. It was so massive that we. couldn't believe it. We visited another section where they had preserved the ancient jewelry and jewelry boxes with beautiful etching on them. There were ancient coins, pottery and some swords and daggers and shields used by ancient kings in the wars. The beautiful throne, crown and the sword of the last king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe were also kept in a glass cabinet.

The place we were most interested in was the side that had things to do with the dance. There were various types of drums and images of drummers were very beautiful. There were also various masks  and masks from the Kolam plays. Sometimes we saw them, but not without fun.😉So we visited the museum, ate at the canteen, happily stopped and went to the hostel.

MY FAVOURITE FILM STAR

Jackie Chan is my favorite film star. He is a short pleasant, stunt man and a humorist. His talent and skill as a martial artist are really amazing Running, chasing, climbing up and slipping down poles, racing and leaping are his great feats. Usually his fighting sequences are directed and performed by him. They are wonderfully filmed to give the viewers great thrill and excitement Rush Hour starring Jackie Chan and Christ Tucker is a film I recently enjoyed watching. (Karate Kids is another box-office hit of his). 

Jackie Chan plays the Police officer from Hong Kong and Christ Tucker an FBI officer. The duo fight against a gang of criminals that has kidnapped the little daughter of his country's-ambassador in US and finally they rescue the kid. The usual Pranks of Jackie and Tucker add spice to the film. Jackie Chan is admired for his. very successful stunt and-for the great-risk he takes to accomplish his tasks. He has soared to stardom in the Hollywood through his great mastery of the Martial Arts displayed with humorous ease.

PHOTOGRAPHY IS A MY HOBBY

 

People have started photography for many reasons.  Photography requires knowledge. The point of the camera and lens is that it allows you to measure a person, a place, etc. from a new perspective and it helps to look at it from a different perspective.

I have had a passion for photography since I was a child.  In fact, when I'm still on vacation, I just go out and take different pictures.It has always been my favorite hobby.  Although I do not have a camera for photography, I do it from my smartphone. It has always been one of my favorite hobby.  

When I take pictures I try to see it literally and figuratively from a new perspective.  I have not learned much about photography.  But it is one of my favorite hobbies.  What I understand about photography is getting a different perspective on something.  That is to create an open mind than the world.  That’s why it has always been my favorite work.  

Photography can be used for recording various events in life and capturing memories, having fun, learning, mastering creativity, and developing one's own style of travel.  Through photography I have had many beautiful experiences in my life.  I was able to create images of different events, times and places.  

Photography was mostly used during the university period.  They have become part of my history as fond memories.  Most of the time when I am at rest my duty is to capture the beauty through the lens.  I get great satisfaction out of it.  I have a large number of such photos stored on my computer.  

One day I will keep those photos with me as one of the reasons for my happiness.

MY 2ND MUM

 

She is the epitome of human virtues.  She is a quiet and sensitive woman who does not try to hurt anyone’s feelings.  Compassionate for the less fortunate, she is often seen feeding the hungry and caring for the sick.  Must have an honest and true religious mind.  

The best friend one can have is someone like her.  A sea of ​​knowledge.  Her great qualities are service to humanity and devotion to duty, respect for the elders and love for children.  The love and care she gave me when my sister died and kept me in her home and cared for all my needs like her own child is indescribable.  

She has the positive qualities of a student that make her a good person.  I learn a lot from her.  I have a lot of knowledge from her.  The qualities are many.  She is gentle and polite and her face reflects the goodness of her soul.  She is always ready to help others.  

My second mother with such noble qualities is my dance teacher Mani.  Her name is Himali Gamage and I will always consider her as a mother.  She, too, treats me like her own child, a quality not seen in anyone.  So I called my second mother my dancing teacher. 😘😘😘😘😘

A IMPORTANT PART OF MY LIFE

 

My family is the most important part of my life.  And then another part joins my life.  That was the guest who came into my life many years ago, on 19.12.2014.  He came into my life as a second father and taught me the good and the bad and sat next to me in all my work and gave me advice.  

Even though he is away at all times, he feels close because of the closeness of his words.  Sometimes like a brother, sometimes a good friend, sometimes an enemy, sometimes a teacher and a mentor, sometimes like a court judge.😌  

That's how he came into my life and taught me the true meaning of love.  The love, affection and protection you have given me for seven years without change is invaluable to me.  

Did you eat? Is the work done?  Have you studied?  Do you have money?  Not sick, right?  Are the people at home well?  Etc. Question paper.  I am the only one who answers that moment.😎 

I sometimes wonder if he, who gives such love, affection and protection, came into my life unexpectedly because of a previous relationship.  He has now become the second part of my life.  Our only goal is to live a beautiful life in the future.😍

MY FAVORITE DANCE STYLES

 

Sri Lanka is rightfully known as the "Wonder of Asia." Sri Lanka is a multicultural country which boasts of its unique nature as well as cultural heritage which enriches the richness of the country. The country boasts of various folk dances, today there are three distinct traditions of dances of Sri Lanka which differ from each other based on the costume, rhythm, and body movements. The three main classical dances of Sri Lanka.

Individuals prefer different dance styles.  It depends on their liking, skill, experience and so on.  My favourite dance styles are Kandyan dance style and Slow-motion dance style.  I think the reason is that I have studied them since I was a child.  From the age of seven I went to the village dance academy until the age of 17. I learned this and her Kandyan dance style from the beginning. My only desire was to continue dancing. 

AN UNFORGETTABLE HOSTEL LIFE

I feel that hostel life is a must-have experience during a fun-filled life.  During this time we have become a golden period of life.  Similarly, the hostel life experience was unforgettable. Learning in a group until late at night was so refreshing.  It was the best part of hostel life.  It was also a pleasure to see one friend sleeping with a book in his hand.  Our hobby was forgetting a few things, clicking on funny pictures of others while learning, and making someone else restless and angry about so much more.

And how to forget water and tasteless food with baked bread?  This time Maggie fills her empty stomach when she feels hungry in the middle of the night.  I swear Maggie's value is priceless.😊 Continuing to watch movies all night long, endless and nonsense and gossiping about girls or boys is the best moment in hostel life.  In the midst of stress and loneliness we get a little pleasure, but it means a lot.  This time taught us the true value of the small pleasures of life.

It was also during this period that I learned the lesson of money management.  This time it was very important to know the value of money and learn different ways to reduce costs and save money.

Being a hostel, there was no need for a specific reason to celebrate.  Whether it's someone's birthday or someone getting a new gadget, all kinds of parties celebrated in a weird way. 😋 Away from home, these little celebrations lightened up and brought a new passion.  Moreover, there was no one to stop us from doing so.  So I spent this time having maximum fun.

There were always people who cared about us from a young age.  Parents cared about our food, homework, bathing, and lifting when we fell.  But living in a hostel is completely different.  Also, we had to do all this alone and decide what suits us.  This is where we learn a lesson about independence and face all kinds of situations.

Haha.  Everyone from the hostel to the watchman had nicknames.  Their original names have never been known before.  I think it's fun to call others by fun nicknames.  So the most beautiful time of my life's strong, fun experiences was my hostel period.💗💗💗

THE FRUITS OF LOVE

Supun was a little boy. He had no friends. He had no pet. He was lonely. There was a mango tree in front of his house. It had not leaves and flowers. The leaves and flowers were shedding. It was the season. There was no rain. 

supun's father said "The mango tree is not bearing fruits now. It is unless. Let's cut it for firewood."

The little boy was very sorry about the tree. He remembered iis tasty mangoes. He put his arms around the tree. "Oh! friend, please don't die. I love you. I need you dear. Please don't leave me alone" said supun, crying. tears ran down his cheeks. The tree felt his tears like soft rain. "I love you too.." said tree. 

Supun waterd the tree everyday. He touched it and kissed it. One beautiful day, some new leaves appeared on it. It was comming back to life. Some monthes later little mangoes appeared.

Supun's father said "Look, the tree has come back to life. what a wonder!" Only Supun knew secret.
